Kathleen Lights X ColourPop

When Kathleen Lights FINALLY announced her new collab with ColourPop I was so excited! I love her and I love ColourPop…obviously. I luckily was able to get everything as soon as it went on sale….even though my internet went out right at launching time. Seriously I freaked out haha. Anyways here are my thoughts on this collection!

So she came out with three new lippies, two ultra satin and one ultra glossy. There is Rêver, a neon orange red, Dreamy a peachy pink and Moon Child a pinky nude with gold micro glitter. I love all three shades! I was afraid that I would hate the way Rêver would look on me, because I thought it would make me have “clown lips”. But it’s actually gorgeous, and I think it would look great on so many skin tones! Kathleen just gets it when creating lip shades. She’s awesome!

The palette she created is called Dream St. after the boy band from the early 2000’s. I think that’s hilarious, because I actually listened to them back in the day. I think I was in 5th or 6th grade then, and It’s just so nostalgic for me. This palette is gorgeous guys! You can get so many looks from these colors. Daytime looks to smokey shimmery night time looks. The pigmentation is amazing, I mean its ColourPop. Starting from the left to right the colors in order are called, Shooting Star, Magical, Star Dust, Twinkle, Sweet Dreams, Water Bearer, Potion, Spark, Kaleidoscope, Elfish, Moony, and Mermaid Boy. I’d have to say my top three favorite shades are Twinkle, Water Bearer, and Spark….AND Mermaid Boy. Ok so that’s four then…It’s very hard to narrow it down.

All in all I love this collection so much, and I love Kathleen Lights. She is just a beautiful person all around and so genuine. She is my favorite beauty YouTuber to watch and she inspires me all of the time. I am very excited for her new collection, and I hope there are many more in the future!

Thank you guys so much for reading and until next time!

  1. This palette is sooo beautiful! I ordered the Give it to me straight & double entendre palettes recently but I’m starting to regret not adding Dream St. to my order!
I also think Rêver would look beautiful on a lot of skin tones!
